Returns

All returns must have prior authorization. Please review the following information before requesting an RMA.

Terms and Conditions:

  • All electrical parts are non-returnable including but not limited to switches, circuit boards and motors.
  • All returns of stock items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Shipping charges are nonrefundable and return freight is the responsibility of the returnee. In the event additional shipping fees, duties or taxes apply to a return shipment (including but not limited to the return freight of international orders), the returnee is responsible for any additional charges. Exceptions may apply if purchases are defective and/or an error has occurred in shipping or packaging by fault of toolsandmachinery.com or their vendors.
  • All returns must be made within 30-days of order delivery; mmToolParts.com will not accept returns after that 30-day period.
  • All return items must be returned in like-new condition and in their original packaging. After inspection and if applicable, a refund or credit will be issued for the total purchase price of the item less applicable restocking fees. If returns are deemed to have been destroyed or otherwise abused beyond resale by the purchaser, no refund will be issued.
  • mmToolParts.com reserves the right to decline returns.

Defective or Damaged Items:
If you receive a product that is defective or has been damaged during shipment, mmToolParts.com will replace your purchase free of charge. Please contact mmToolParts.com for details regarding item/order replacement. *Some exceptions apply.

Special Orders:
A special order item is any part or product that is not stocked in our regular inventory. All special order item returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Depending upon manufacturer, select special order item returns may also incur an additional $25 fee.
mmToolParts.com does not reflect inventory online. Please call, email, or Live-Chat if you require stock verification.

General Information:
In all cases and with all returns, merchandise will be inspected by certified technicians before any refund or credit is issued. Should it be determined that returned merchandise has been used, abused, or destroyed, no refund will be issued.
Some manufacturers offer a "Satisfaction Guarantee" on select power tools. mmToolParts.com honors the terms of these return policies and will refund the full purchase price of any power tool returned under these conditions. Outgoing freight remains non-refundable and purchasers remain responsible return freight.


Requesting an RMA

If you have an account:
Simply log in to your mmToolParts.com account and follow the below steps.

  • Using the menu below your account information, select the "view order history" option; this will direct you to a list of all orders placed on your account.
  • Select the order on which you wish to make a return; this will direct you to a list of all items purchased on that order.
  • After locating the item you wish to return, click the "need to return this part?" link just below the item's part number. This will direct you to a brief merchandise return request form. Complete the form, click "confirm,” and your return will begin processing immediately.
  • Please record your unique RMA number(s) for future reference.

Important Information: A return merchandise form must be completed for each item being returned.
You may monitor the progress of your return by accessing your order (through your order history) and following the RMA links posted to the items you have requested to return. Any updates that have been made to the status of your return will be posted there.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Though many orders ship on the day of order placement, delivery method time-frames (such as 3-day delivery) apply to a shipment only after that order has shipped - not upon order placement. Accordingly, selected shipping methods reflect how soon orders will arrive after they have shipped, not, necessarily, after the order has been placed.
All purchasers will be sent a shipping confirmation email with tracking information immediately upon order shipment.

Shipping Options

USPS First-Class Mail (Approximately 2-5 Business Days):
Although all USPS First-Class Mail shipments offer tracking information, this delivery method is not guaranteed and delays may result during shipment. The estimated time of delivery after shipment is 2 - 5 business days; for the postal service, this includes Saturdays and excludes government observed holidays. No signature is required upon delivery and toolsandmachinery.com is not responsible for lost, delayed or undelivered packages.

USPS Priority Mail (Approximately 2-3 Business Days):
USPS Priority Mail provides tracking information for all shipments. The estimated time of delivery is 2 - 3 business days; for the postal service, this includes Saturdays and excludes government observed holidays. No signature is required upon delivery and toolsandmachinery.com is not responsible for lost, delayed or undelivered packages. 

Ground/Air Freight (Approximately 1-5 Business Days):
Ground/air freight (UPS, for example) offers guaranteed delivery and provides tracking information for all shipments. This method also provides additional delivery options such as next-day or three-day delivery. Depending upon the delivery method selected and the time of order placement, the estimated time of delivery for freight packages is 1 - 5 business days (this excludes observed holidays). Although signatures are not required, a street address must be provided for delivery; P.O. boxes are not accepted for this shipping method. 

Using a Third Party Shipping Account:
mmToolParts.com is happy to ship orders using a third party account or the UPS account number of a purchaser. A $3.00 handling fee will be applied to all orders shipped third party. Call toll-tree 877-583-PART (7278) to make these arrangements.

International Shipping Policy

Shipping Options

USPS International Priority (Approximately 6-10 Business Days):
Although USPS International Priority is the most economical international shipping option, this delivery method is not guaranteed and packages shipped via this method cannot be tracked upon departure of the United States. In other words, after a USPS Priority International package has left U.S. Customs, there is no tracking information available for that shipment. For this method, the estimated time of delivery after shipping is 6 - 10 business days (this excludes observed holidays). As the Customs Departments of each country behave differently, this time-table differs and depends on the package's transit through international customs. 

USPS International Express Mail (Approximately 3-5 Business Days):
USPS International Express Mail (EMS) offers guaranteed delivery and tracking information that spans the duration of the package's transit and delivery. The estimated time of delivery is 3 - 5 business days following order shipment; that time-frame excludes observed holidays.  

Air Freight:
Air Freight (DHL, for example) offers guaranteed delivery and tracking information that spans the duration of the package's transit and delivery. The estimated time of delivery is 3 - 8 business days following order shipment; that time-frame excludes observed holidays.
