This sander pad is a genuine Dewalt replacement part, not generic or aftermarket. It it a Foam Rubber type pad and is compatible with clamp-on style sandpaper. It is not compatible with hook-and loop sandpaper. This sander pad has a metal backing plate with a padded sanding surface attached. The pad is complete and ready to install. This sander pad will fit the Dewalt sanders listed in the 'Compatibility' section below. It is not guaranteed to fit any other power tool models.
