160422057P Field - Bosch

This is an authentic OEM field for a grinder. The field is one of two major parts that make up the motor. The armature fits inside the field, and when it is stimulated, this produces a magnetic field around the armature, causing it to spin. If the grinder is put under too much stress this can cause the motor to over-heat. When this occurs, this damages the wires (or burns them), creating a short. It is also wise to inspect the armature at this time and replace it if need be (armature sold separately).
