This is an authentic replacement field which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Dewalt and Black and Decker impact wrenches. In conjunction with an armature, it is the main component at the heart of an electric motor which drives the unit. A field is usually damaged by overloading the power tool or because of a bad armature, it is highly recommended to replace both carbon brushes when replacing a field. Please note this high-quality component is sold individually.
