This is a genuine Makita replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with cordless drills. The rotor is a complete part assembly that includes the fan, pinion gear, and bearings. This item fits inside the stator assembly and rotates when electricity is sent to the stator. The rotor drives the gear assembly and the chuck. This item is sold as an individual replacement part.
