This part is available as an individual replacement. The locknut goes next to the saddle and is made out of metal. A wrench might be helpful during the installation of this item. It will need to be replaced if it becomes stripped or broken. This is a genuine OEM sourced part which is specially designed for use with DeWALT saws.
