To extend the life of your 100025A 14 inch band saw tire be sure to lighten your tension bar thus decreasing the pressure. If you are getting inconsistent blade tracking the problem could be a worn out tire/wheel protector. Keep your tires clean and free from debris and buildup. Never use solvent it'll take the life right out of your band saw tire. We have found that a few drops of the wife's dishwashing liquid in hot water works wonders to keep things squeaky clean and in top condition. (Warning: When you're done, be sure to put the dishwashing liquid back under the sink.)

These are urethane bandsaw tires. When you pull them out of the box you'll notice their stiffness right away. Tip: Before you install them on your band saw wheels we suggest you soak them in the hottest tap water you got for about ten minutes. That'll help loosen them up a bit before installing them on your bandsaw wheels. It is never good to have low spots on your tire. Worn out areas on your tire will cause you an unprecedented amount of grief. Get that tire replaced! You will thank me for sure.
