This Forstner bit features a special alloyed steel body with a precision-balanced center point, 2 spurs, and 2 precision-ground cutting edges for long-lasting performance. It is ideal for drilling precise flat-bottom holes without chipping in any thickness of soft wood. Suitable for drilling in any direction, making arched openings, and partially overlapped flat-bottom holes for mortising. Also useful for drilling niches to fix supports.
