The DeWalt Cordless Framing Nailer DC692M1 is an innovation in cordless framing. Instead of using expensive and wasteful gas cartridges or bulky air compressors; the DeWalt framing nailer is powered by a 4.0Ah Lithium Ion XR (Extra Runtime) battery and built in compression piston, making it completely cordless, gas-less, and hose-less.
This framing nailer is more versatile and easy to carry, it also has a rafter latch so you can hang your nailer when not in use or hang it from a tool belt.
It has a two-speed functionality, the first speed is for nails that are 2" - 2.5" and the second speed can drive nails up to 3" - 3.5" It also features a stall reset lever, and includes a hex key screwdriver to easily remove the nose piece and clear any nail jams.
