Know Before You Order

Some orders ship faster than others

We stock tens of thousands of parts in our warehouse, and most in-stock orders ship within 24 business hours. Because we specialize in hard-to-find tool parts, some items are sourced directly from the manufacturer after your order is placed and may require 10–14 business days before shipment. We believe in being transparent about timelines so you know what to expect before ordering. If timing is critical, please contact with your part number for an estimated delivery timeframe.

Why does M&M Tool Parts offer parts other companies don’t?

As a family-owned business, we’ve built long-standing relationships with trusted manufacturers across the industry. These partnerships allow us to source specialty parts that are often unavailable through larger retailers or online marketplaces. In many cases, M&M Tool Parts provides one of the few reliable ways to obtain these components — and we work hard to get them to you as quickly as possible.

What should I expect after placing my order?

Our team begins processing orders immediately. If your item is stocked locally, you’ll typically receive tracking information within 24 business hours. For manufacturer-sourced items, we coordinate directly with vendors to secure and ship your order as efficiently as possible. We understand downtime is frustrating, and we sincerely appreciate your patience while we help source parts that can often be difficult to find elsewhere.

The DeWalt F187 Garden Hose Inlet Screen is a genuine OEM replacement filter screen used on compatible pressure washers. Installed at the garden-hose water inlet, the screen helps prevent dirt and larger debris from the incoming water supply from entering the pressure washer pump.

Product Specifications

Part Type: Garden Hose Inlet Screen / Filter Washer

Tool Compatibility

F187 is used on a large number of pressure washers produced across the DeWalt and legacy DeVilbiss equipment families. Verified applications include:

DeWalt D2300B – Type 1
DeWalt D2400H – Applicable configurations
DeWalt DP2800 – Applicable configurations
DeWalt DP3100 – Type 2
DeWalt DVH2600 – Applicable configurations

F187 is also documented on numerous DeVilbiss, Porter-Cable, Craftsman, Delta, and Black & Decker pressure washers. Because of the large number of legacy applications, verify the equipment model and parts diagram for F187 before ordering.

Part Function

The F187 screen installs at the pressure washer's garden-hose inlet and filters the incoming water supply before water enters the pump. Its mesh screen helps prevent larger dirt and debris from passing into the pump and water system.

Inspection and Replacement

Inspect the inlet screen periodically for accumulated debris, clogging, tears, deformation, or other damage. A damaged or heavily restricted screen should be replaced so the inlet remains protected while allowing adequate water flow to the pressure washer.

Important Compatibility Information

F187 has been used across many pressure washer brands and model generations built around DeVilbiss equipment and pump platforms. Match the replacement using part number F187 and the applicable equipment parts diagram rather than selecting an inlet screen solely by appearance or garden-hose connection size.
