The DeWalt N475920 FLEXVOLT Battery Transport Cap is an authentic DeWalt replacement cap for compatible FLEXVOLT battery packs. The red transport cap installs over the battery connection area when the battery is being transported or stored and protects the battery terminals from accidental contact.

On compatible FLEXVOLT batteries, installing the transport cap also places the battery into its designated transport configuration. FLEXVOLT batteries contain multiple strings of cells that are electrically connected differently depending on how the battery is being used. The transport cap separates these cell strings for transportation, reducing the watt-hour rating associated with each individual battery section.
