The ETS 150/3 is ideally suited for fine sanding and extra-fine sanding, producing an excellent surface finish with a short 1/8 inch (3.0 mm) stroke. It features a rubberized top grip, ergonomic handle, finger tip switch and vibration-stop balancing to reduce the discomfort normally associated with sanding. Multi-Jetstream dust extraction improves the surface finish by removing dust particles as they are generated, while at the same time, prolonging pad and abrasive life. With soft-start, step-less speed controls, and constant speed under load, these sanders perform on a level that you are not likely to have experienced. The ETS 150/3 is equipped with Multi-Jetstream dust extraction for highly efficient dust removal. The Multi-Jetstream system can extend abrasive life by up to 30% while keeping both the workpiece and the work environment free of dust. Multi-Jetstream is designed to create airflow into, across, and through the pad and abrasive. Suction is applied to the outer periphery of holes and draw air from the center of the pad which draws air from outside the pad on it's edges. This creates a circulating effect that moves more air and therefore removes more dust. Multi-Jetstream pads and abrasives use the Festool StickFix adhesive system for quick and easy abrasive changes and allow for abrasive discs to be reused. The short 1/8 inch (3.0 mm) stroke creates a minimal sanding pattern for the highest levels of finish requirements. The large 6 inch pad covers large surfaces in little time. The unique handle design provides multiple gripping points for user comfort and control to minimize fatigue and provide maximum control for optimal results.
